Question: Why am I having a hard time finding a job?
I know that the economy is rough and that everyone is having trouble finding a job, but with the qualifications that I have, (I don't mean to brag) I feel that it should be easier. I have
- B.S. in Economics from a state school 3.0+ gpa.
- Fluency in Arabic
- Experience with the U.S. Census Bureau as a temporary position
- Good communication skills
- Extracurricular stuff; I started a Middle East Club chapter
- Experience abroad; six months in Egypt
I feel as if though these qualifications are in demand? What am I doing wrong? I am submitting applications by the hundreds. I am having people look over my resume. I am always looking for possible connections. What do I do?
