Question: Plan for better career what do you think about this?
i'm a filipino and a graduate of electrical engineer, my first work as a sales clerk in the hardware store... Yeah Pretty stupid because that time i have failed in licensure exam/board exam, after 6 months of working ill decided to take again the board exam and it also failed, ill decided to work as a technician of medical equiptment but after 5 months i resign,... It is pretty hard but ill decided to take again the board exam by the in the philippines there is no limit about, im so desperate that time i want to have a better life, having a family someday, having a nice job anyway God give me a blessing... After of 5months of sacrifice in review and studying the result is success and now im an engineer, ill work at elevator company in the field of construction but i did not find happiness because i want a job that related to my career, and now my current work is a electrical estimor pretty close to my career but the salary is low and the overtime is not paid im working 12hrs a day pretty stupid here in the philippines, anyway my question is i'm planning to works overseas in the field as a seaman because my father is a seaman, he say it has a high salary and relation to my career about the maintenance of generators and other electrical equipment, i dont know what is the best choice i want to resign again in my current work, and apply in other company or...... I'll accept the oppurtunity work as a seaman but as i know being seaman is a lonely man's job you are too far from your love ones

Go ahead and explore, dont be scared to leave your sweet spot. Sure, you need to get out of your comfort zone from time to time, just so that you can learn and stretch your limits, but that does not mean that you need to spend majority of your time outside of your sweet spot.
