Question: Pathology! English job title to german employment? Pathology Assistant?

I am in a progress in getting an apprenticeship / internship in the medical profession, in the pathology department in Germany.
And I was wondering what the english equivalent to that job title might be?

The job title is in german: --Medizinischer Sektions- und Präparationsassistent--

The job description is quite extensive and doesnt really fit the english title of a Pathology Assistant.
Its in part like a Taxidermist, who prepares and makes samples for teaching purposes among others.
Also preparing the autopsy and actually attending them.
Developing and saving the photo evidence and grievous support!

I started this internship a few years ago, when I still was in school, therefore I didnt finish it. I wanted to learn something else as a fall back, in the Hotel Industry.
But I never forgot that time and it still haunts me that I didnt finish it that time, when I was that young and wild!

Because currently I live in the UK but for the apprenticeship I have to move to Berlin, Germany, I wanted to know the english / british job opportunities and title for that position?
