Question: Leaving Amerika - relocation/job options?
Was ashamed by Clinton's last year in office, awakened by the 2000 election scam, horrified at Bush's 8 year Reign of Error, severely disappointed by Obama's 1st year of "No Change", every year we lose more freedoms, more Rights, privacy, & the moral high-ground.
Meanwhile voters are more concerned about American Idol, gun rights, abortion, & the price tag of affordable healthcare, yet they don't bat an eye to the trillion dollar illegal wars we are waging & creating, the embarrassing state of our schools, crumbling infrastructure, degraded environment and wallstreet raping & fleecing the hard working middle class which is expected to pay for it all!
I don't recognize this country my parents immigrated to, the one both myself and both siblings were proud to serve.
I quit, and would like to instead take my degrees and experience to a country where I know my taxes are being used to advance society, not repress it, & where my degrees are used to solve problems not promulgate them, and where I feel free and not oppressed and watched.
I'm thinking either Canada, or S. or Central America (Chile, Brazil, Argentina), or Europe (Scandinavia, Austria, Switzerland), any suggestions?
Answer:
Our nation is known as The United States of America (with a "C", not a "K"). Those of us who are TRUE Americans never turn our backs and run. We support our country even when we think it is not going the way we want. Ours is a democracy and over time the wrongs can be righted, if we persist rather than cower (or run).
You ask for job option advice without thinking to mention what you might want a job doing, so I cannot offer direction there other than to do an internet search. As for relocation suggestions, I am bound by the community guidelines to be civil so I will respectfully suggest you consider a more suitable utopia such as North Korea or Cuba.
Forget about Switzerland unless you are very rich or have some sought after skill, only EU citizens can enter here freely.
lol
If you're serious you'll have to find out which countries permit immigration, and what the requirements are. For example, Australia has an age and income formula. YOu have to have a job prospect, etc.
