Question: Is there anyone who wants to be a doctor or vet?

Is there anyone who is planning to be/wants to be/ is going to be a doctor, or wants to go into the medicals' profession? there is near to no one i know who wants to. there are Very few people in my grade (10th) who are going to take biology in 11th grade. im confused between art, computers, economics and bio. besides this im surely taking up math, physics, chemistry. people tell me that if i take bio with PCM, it'll be really tough, they might be right, they might not.
you could be from any country- US, england, canada, india, australia, china, japan, russia, or elsewhere, but i'd like to know if you want to, or anyone you know who does. india, proudly my country, has the best doctors. they go off to other countries usually, but it might not be this way for long. if we all become something else, who will become a doctor? we'd keep falling sick! or even our pets! doesnt anyone want to be a vet? animals have an equal chance of getting injured or sick! i dont want to sound negative, but they too could get a disease in any organ, any animal domestic or wild, or birds, or fish, or marine animals!
you might think its a creepy job, or less glamourous, your opinion. but its all worth it, you save the world, and good doctors get paid well too. and dentists are doctors, very important ones. the police and army equally important, but i'll ask that question some other time.

I WAS considering becoming a vet, due to my affection for animals and because my good friend was a vet assistant. But I don't have the academic background for it. I have business subjects, not medical :(
