I applied online and answered a very short, to the point questionnaire. About to weeks later I was invited to an interview at the location. There were two managers per interviewee. When it was my turn, one of the managers asked me for my printout of my interview invitation and I gave him a firm handshake, and we proceeded to sit down. They asked basic questions like "Why Zaxby's" "What skills do you have that would qualify you for this position?" etc. I would advise you to step out of your comfort zone, know something about the company and really try to leave the very best version of you with them. I think I was too soft spoken and didn't say enough to set myself apart from the people behind me, maybe that's why they never contacted me.

Zaxby's called me about 2 months after I applied for the job. They told me to come in on a Tuesday for an interview. When I arrived, it was 2 other people applying for the job. The district manager interviewed us, and asked simple questions. After that, he told us that he would call us back within a few days for another interview. A few days later, I was called back and the store manager interviewed me, along with the same district manager. After the interview, he told me he would call me back that same day to let me know if I had gotten the job or not. About an hour later he called and offered me the position.
