Question: I can't find a job and I hate my life?
So I have been unemployed since 21st November. I am qualified and have been to college and studied in IT. I can't find a job anywhere, I apply for every single job I can do, even ones at ASDA and I either never hear back from the company, or I can not travel to where the job is. A lot of people lie about the jobs, saying it is in a certain location then they say you need to go to another location.
It is so depressing because I am 18 and have no money, I had a job and a girlfriend in Summer and I loved my life, now I have lost everything. I am so depressed, it is so hard to smile. It is so hard to hold back the tears from all the memories I had of my ex girlfriends and previous jobs.
What am I going to do? I want a job for 1 year then I am going to save and move abroad and work there like I always wanted.
But now I have no hope. Everything is ruined. It is hard to survive without money. Without love. I just feel so helpless. I can't believe it is 2012 and people are still having to go without money. I mean how f*****g ridiculous is that.
Answer:
Lots of people are in the same situation 7million last count this is a bad day just keep trying. Try agencies, part time anything to get yourself out there. I'm sick of reading endless questions about how young people are whining about no work/money you're lucky, i left school during the last recession in the early 90's and the only work going was stupid £35 a week 40hr slave trainee jobs and the dole was no better so mass unemployment has happened twice in my working lifetime.
Lower your standards,be flexible i've had to otherwise you'll go under
that's not a question and it makes 2 of us.
maybe i am too small to give a advice ( m oly 14 y.o. ) to you but i expect you to take it seriously.
according to me, life is pointless without a motive, and without love. see i dont know what happned between u nd ur gf, but if there is even 1% chance for you to get her back, you must try, maybe you can add this to your goals. and about job, you dont have to, you know, get job which payd high you can get one which gives you just enough. think of it as a competetion, you versus life. life is trying to depress you, frustate you. if you want to win, you will have to show it that it cant win, it cant depress you, you can always find a way out to any problem. just keep smiling and onr day life will get tired of upsetting you.
sorry if you didnt understand my words. just was tryin to help.
Well, it may be tough but hang in there. It might not be glamorous but try applying at a fast food restaurant, they usually hire. You could even work your way up and become manager if you have the skills and work ethic. Even if you feel down, go into an interview with a big grin, confidence, and an upbeat attitude. A lot of people are in similar situations these days. Try volunteering at charities, it'll help your perspective and benefit your resume. Maybe your family members know someone who'll hire you. Good luck out there!
Go abroad now - what's stopping you? You will never be this free again. Plenty of vacancies for male au pairs/mothers helps or doing voluntary service.
If you'd sooner sit around and wallow in self pity, go ahead - but seems a bit of a waste.
I know the felling but it pass. IT like US DOD promising me any thing I wanted. to put out chernobyl.
then IS DOD reneging when the science worked, and or technology worked, the math worked, & Presentation worked. then they pull fraud buy saying it scam. forgetting that Chernobyl did go out.
A $220.0 billion down at a trillion to one odds at a Double or nothing. that chernobyl would go out.
and or chernobyl did go out. That's a $880.0 trillion Dollar win. DO To us dod not paying up on a 110% win. they have no right to complain about my poverty.
the question were uS DOD hidden all the winnings.
