Question: How can I obtain a job overseas?
I had thought of teaching English as a second language, but not terribly sure about that. Though that seems to be about the only option I have come across. I drove a semi-truck here in the States, across the continental 48 for some time and really enjoyed it. I wouldn't mind driving a similar if not same truck in Europe or Australia. Do any of you know how I can go about finding such a job while still here in the States?
Answer:
Some of the best jobs to attain are from a jobs job board that has tonnes of jobs online. I would give it a try using a application like that for the ideal results. Good luck!
Most countries have a policy that basically says they won't license foreign workers for jobs unless they can't find the right talent in their country to do those jobs -- rare skills and/or talent shortage. Another way to get jobs overseas is to work for a multinational company that transfers you, generally for the same reason. Neither is likely to apply to trucking, so you'd probably have to emigrate. Sorry!
Hello. As far as I know, you need to have certain qualifications in order to be a teacher.
Besides, being a teacher requires not only linguistic skills. Have you passed methodics of teaching?
These are basic requirement, no matter where you go and what you teach.
Thank you
