Question: How to ask for further information about a job?

I'm going to send my curriculum for a job in Spain, but I have to write the letter in english. I'm not sure I have all the requested skills, so I would like to ask for further information. How can I do it? Any suggestions? Sorry, but my english is everything but perfect :)

Have you tried to Google other skills required by the same job in other organization? or have you check the industry standards with regards to this job?
