Question: How do I get a job in Brazil?

I am a student studying a business degree and graduate in may 2012, I would like to get a well paid job in Brazil or somewhere in South America. I am a british citizen.

Anyone know how I would get a job?

Or know any Job agencies that could help me?

Answer:

Why the hell you want to get a job in Brazil if you live in the UK?

Everything in the UK is much better than Brazil.

Brazilians struggle to get jobs. If you come here you'll notice lots of people with MSc degrees, Post graduation diplomas unemployed. Getting a degree in Brazil is not enough.

In addition, you have to be aware of social problems. I'm assuming you live in the UK. Violence and crimes in Brazil are very different from those in the UK. In Brazil you not only have to worry about being robbed, but also being KILLED. Murders here are higher than in countries at war like Afghanistan and Iraq. I won't give you much details here but I'm not joking!

I strongly advise you only to come to Brazil with a job offer and a very good salary. Things here are much less 'accessible' than in the UK, so you if don't have a good income you'll end up not having enough money to buy simple things that everybody have in the UK like an iphone/smartphone, TV, PS3 (if you like games), microwaves (I'm not kidding!) and electronics in general. These things are very expensive in Brazil.

If you really want to get a job here I'd advise you to go straight to multinationals (AT&T, BT Global, etc.). They're happy to receive your CV in English.

If you already have working experience it will be easier. If not, I don't know if you can get it because jobs in Brazil are not easy to get.
