Question: Do I have to put on my application that I have a criminal record?

I am 17 and I live in New Mexico. I got busted for paraphernalia about a week ago. I got a JPO who will close my case after I submit a 5-page report of marijuana and its dangers, and my record will be clean once I turn 18. I don't turn 18 for another few months. Do I still have to put that I have a criminal record on my job applications?

if you're underage, that information is not public. if you left if off an application, they would never know unless you told them.

wouldn't be a bad idea to avoid breaking the law in the future though.
