Question: 15 year old looking for a reasonable job?

Hi, I'm a 15 year old from Dublin Ireland and am considering a job (although it may be too early to look for a summer job) I am just trying to get to know what types of jobs there is out there for someone my age in the summer... I have tried babysitting and am currently getting calls for not-so frequent jobs ,i have already tried asking to mow lawns ... Didn't work any other jobs that can earn me reasonably money??

Also, is there any jobs ONLINE fo someone of my age ??

If you want to work at 15 make sure you have a national insurance number- you need to apply for this.

The best kind of part time job to get is in a restaurant as a waiter/waitress because the hours vary - you can work an evening shift or a day time shift... You also get tips, which can really boost your wage. Do NOT work in a hotel as a cleaner- I made that mistake - your pay works out to less than minimum wage and the hours are terrible.

At 15 you might want to go self employed doing odd jobs for other people. Maybe put up flyers to do peoples gardening, walking or washing dogs, washing cars, cleaning peoples homes... Or you could buy some bits and pieces to sell on eBay?

When I was 15 the easiest jobs to get were on market stalls, doing a paper round, or in barber shops sweeping up hair lol, or in local shops. Someone I knew worked at a maze! You could try movie theatres or any local places like that.

Think about what interests you though. If you like animals, you might be lucky enough to work at a pet store...

As for online jobs, you can certainly look, but jobs posted online are not always available to youngsters. They are normally aimed at people with experience or qualifications.

Honestly, I hate to say it but there aren't many well paid jobs anywhere, and all work is hard to find at the moment. I suggest that you ask people you know - friends, family - if they can get you a job where they work :)

Im 15 as well I am from Canada.
The type of Jobs that you can get here at 15 are.
Grocery Store, Bus Boy in a restaurant or work at a fast food company.
You are not old enough to handle cash so you will have to do some lower level jobs first.

I personally cut lawns, I have made a fair amount.

Also I don't think there are really any high paying jobs online at the moment.
I know one possible site: www.fileice.net which is a site that you upload files and you get paid per file downloaded, kind of like Sharecash but FileIce pays higher.

Penneys have loads of jobs available. My brother got a job there and he made €10 a hour.

You can earn money if you are a model (or top model)
with the pictures, magazine advertising, poster advertising,
TV commercials and fashion shows.

(but you need to be pretty.
If you are so, send some pictures of your face to several teenage model agencies)

You can also try to be an extra appearing in the movies.

Or directly to be an actor (or actress) in some movies
(but you need to know comedy)

Some companies are also searching for young people
for marketing surveys. You only have to answers questions
about your thoughts and likes about new products
for teenagers you will test.
